This bold Mokume Gane wedding band is shown in the Woodgrain pattern and an 18k version of our Fire palette, with a low dome profile and an etched and oxidized finish, and a lovely added yellow gold liner. This custo version of the Fire palette features 18k red gold, 18k yellow gold, and sterling silver, and the liner is also made of 18k gold.

    Etched and Oxidized

    The silver layers are etched lightly to create valleys and lower patterns in the mokume, and the silver is also darkened to an almost black color by the oxidation.

    A layer of plain silver or gold is added to the inside of the mokume ring so that the metal against the skin isn't mokume but is instead a plain metal.

    The ring is domed so that the edges against the finger are more comfortable to wear. The outside of ring has a low dome profile, rounded edges, the inside is comfort fit.
