This beautiful, vintage-feeling Mokume Gane ring or wedding band is patterned in the Guri Bori style, which leaves the carved surface as relief, showing the layers like topographic lines that match the contours of the carving. This ring is shown in our Flare palette, which features 14kt yellow gold, palladium, and sterling silver. The cathedral-style setting features a center ruby flanked by small citrines. Cathedral

The ring is built up to surround the stone entirely and is made of the mokume gane metal the ring is made of. The stone is sunk into the ring so it sits flat.

Etched and Oxidized

The silver layers are etched lightly to create valleys and lower patterns in the mokume, and the silver is also darkened to an almost black color by the oxidation.
